The objective of this category is to proactively identify and support worthwhile projects, often in conjunction with the Ministry of Health.

In 2007 equipment for a TB Ward at Tsumkwe was identified by the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) as a dire need and the Old Mutual Foundation provided funding as a result. In addition, a proposal was received from the Governor of the Ohangwena Region, to contribute funding towards the construction of a ward for expecting mothers at Engela Hospital.
