What is the GREENLIGHT Final Expenses?

Old Mutual GREENLIGHT Final Expenses is cover for you and your family. It pays a lump sum on the death of the person covered by the policy. This can be used to provide the perfect funeral and even settle some of the deceased's short-term debt.
What's in it for you?
  • We aim to pay out within 48 hours after receiving all required documentation
  • You can sponsor final expenses cover for your family, if you have your own GREENLIGHT cover. This means that we will not ask your partner, child or extended family to go for any medical tests or doctor’s visits
  • You get immediate cover for up to 30 days before you pay your first premium
  • It is available to HIV positive customers

    You can choose cover for your entire life (whole-life cover) or for a specific period (term cover). The amount of cover you are able to buy will vary depending on the option you choose.

    If you buy cover for:

    • yourself: N$50 000 to N$100 000
    • your partner: N$5 000 to N$30 000
    • your children: N$5 000 to N$30 000
    • up to four members of your extended family: N$5 000 to N$15 000

    If you have a valid claim in this period your beneficiaries will receive the full cover amount.
